This 2-day workshop touched on the experiences and challenges facing Yukon First Nations as it relates to the Alaska Highway gas pipeline project and other major development projects in the Yukon.
Day one of the workshop focused on how First Nations have managed large project impacts past and present with an eye to the future. Discussion included early engagement, opportunities, and participation. Day two dealt with various aspects of ‘Living with a Pipeline’ including community engagement, monitoring and impacts.
